Alexandrite vs Corrupt Malachite

a redraw of a concept piece from april/may 2015 and one of my favorite close predictions alongside my corrupt jasper design! this redraw began somewhere around a week before the super watermelon island leak showing alexandrite vs malachite.

by far my longest overpainted peice considering the evolution of the concept and redraw n how i had to hold onto the underpainting for awhile because i needed to focus on college then birdkeeperperi

Alexandrite (fused because running through water takes enormous strength) chases after steven (bubbled underwater and riding lion) who is seeking the source of a sound he suspects to be malachite.

When they get there, they find that Jasper has corrupted (another prediction! sorta) INSIDE malachite, overruning lapis' control aside from a single water chain holding her below the surface.
